Frequently Asked Questions
Most prescriptions include some or all of the following information:
- SPH (Sphere) – the main correction for nearsightedness or farsightedness
- CYL (Cylinder) – correction for astigmatism, if applicable
- AXIS – the direction of astigmatism correction, required when CYL is prescribed
- ADD – additional near-vision power, typically required for progressive lenses
- PD (Pupillary Distance) – the distance between your pupils, used to correctly position the optical centers of your lenses
Not every prescription will include all of these values. For example, CYL and AXIS are only needed when prescribed, while ADD is generally only needed for progressive lenses.
Simply enter the values exactly as they appear on your prescription. If a field does not apply to your prescription, you do not need to provide it unless otherwise indicated.
If you’re unsure about any of your prescription information, contact us at info@rayzzoleyewear.com before placing your order.

Each replacement lens is made specifically for the corresponding frame model and size. If your frame is available in multiple sizes, please make sure you select the exact size printed on your frame.
You can usually find the model number and frame size printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Not sure which frame you have? Contact us at info@rayzzoleyewear.com and we’ll help you identify it.
No. You do not need to send us your frames.
Your replacement lenses are made specifically for the frame model and size you select and shipped directly to you.
This means you can keep using your Meta glasses while your new lenses are being made.
You can usually find your frame information printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Look for the model number and a series of measurements, such as 50-22 or 53-22. These identify the frame model and size.
Some frame styles are available in multiple sizes or versions, so it’s important to select the exact option that matches your glasses.
If you’re unsure, contact info@rayzzoleyewear.com with a photo of the information printed inside your frame and we’ll help you identify the correct lenses.
Yes. Our replacement lenses are designed to fit the corresponding frame model and can generally be installed at home.
We recommend following our Lens Installation Guide carefully to ensure the lenses are installed correctly and to avoid applying unnecessary pressure to the lenses or frame.
If you’re not comfortable installing the lenses yourself, you can also ask a local optical shop for assistance.
You can customize your replacement lenses by choosing the prescription type, lens category, and lens thickness that best fit your needs.

Yes. Plano (non-prescription) lenses are available if you don’t need vision correction but still want replacement lenses for your compatible frames.
You can choose from available lens categories and features, including clear, blue-violet light filtering, photochromic, tinted, and polarized options.
The best lens thickness depends primarily on your prescription strength and your preference for thickness, weight, and durability.
As a general guide:
- Standard (1.56) – A balanced everyday option for lower prescriptions.
- Thin (1.67) – A thinner option for moderate to higher prescriptions.
- Extra-Thin (1.74) – Our thinnest option, recommended for higher prescriptions where reducing lens thickness is especially important.
- Durable (PC) – Impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses designed for added durability.
The available options may vary depending on your prescription and selected lens category.
If you’re unsure which option is best for your prescription, contact us at info@rayzzoleyewear.com and we’ll be happy to help.
No. Properly fitted replacement lenses do not interfere with the normal smart functions of compatible Meta glasses.
The cameras, speakers, microphones, touch controls, and other electronic components are built into the frame rather than the lenses.
Just make sure you select the correct frame model and size so your replacement lenses fit properly.
Most orders are delivered within 7–16 business days.
Because many of our lenses are custom-made to your prescription and selected lens options, your order requires time for production, quality inspection, and shipping.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Delivery times may occasionally vary due to prescription complexity, production requirements, holidays, or carrier delays.
Because prescription, photochromic, polarized and tinted lenses are custom-made to your specifications, they are not eligible for returns due to change of mind, incorrect frame selection, or incorrectly submitted prescription information.
If we make an error in manufacturing your lenses, we offer a One-Time Free Remake Guarantee. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can review the issue and arrange a replacement when eligible.
Our lenses also include a 90-day manufacturing warranty covering eligible manufacturing issues such as prescription manufacturing errors, incorrect lens types, coating defects, and optical manufacturing defects.
If you experience an issue with your lenses, contact info@rayzzoleyewear.com with your order number and details of the problem.
To help protect your lenses and coatings:
- Rinse away dust or debris with clean, lukewarm water before wiping.
- Use a clean microfiber lens cloth to gently clean and dry the lenses.
- Avoid paper towels, tissues, or clothing, as they may scratch the lens surface.
- Avoid household cleaners and other harsh chemicals.
- Keep your lenses away from excessive heat, such as inside a hot car.
- Store your glasses in a protective case when not in use.
Proper care will help preserve the clarity, coatings, and overall performance of your lenses.
